Modern Perf/Inner Tail Mod/Mirror Signals

I made a new thread since the last was hijacked by some dumb@sses. This time read the damn post before you think it's just another pic of a cobalt.....

Ok so more to come. But here is the official heads up.

Got the modernperformance tail's on the way, the turn signal resistors, and the mirror signals are going on this week as well.

Ok I got the first photoshop from my homie. Essentially this is what we'll be seeing.

The pic below depicts the inners done with the modernperformance tails.

In a little bit I'll have the mirror signal photoshop up. It won't show the rears at full turn signal brightness, but it will show you what the mirror will look like under signal.

I'm thinkin by Friday I'll have both the mirror signals and the tail lights installed, just not the inners done quite yet.

The mirror signal is a custom setup. Utilizing the stock mirror housing, a 4.7inch led strip will be placed in it. Hold off on doing it yourself till ya see the results, as this mirror signal project is something that hasn't really been done yet, especially with how I'm doing it. lol

just a quick question, how did you plan to do the inners? just from experience there isnt enough room inside the inners to put a led strip. i bought the ones like that that didnt have the led outters to do that to the inners and there just wasnt enough room for the strip in it. the problem is at the bottom part. there should be just enough room to use 3 or maybe 5mm single leds if you wanted to do it that way. just lettin ya know what you're up against with those inners.

modern performance tails went in tonight. followed the instructions provided by another thread. actually just glanced em over once, grabbed my ratchet and deep sockets and went to work. 15 minutes total. with a smoke break haha.

When the sun rises imma install the turn signal resistors so the burnt bulb fast turn signal returns to normal.

Assuming I don't then go to the beach with a girl for the day, I'll be installing the turn signal leds. The inners will be worked on at the end of the month, as well as the third brake light led mod.

The common "scratches" i've heard about are on these lights, but they appear to be on the inside of the housing and are more like...dust buildup's from what i could tell so far.

The drivers side reverse light bulb doesn't hold locked position in the housing, yet the passenger side reverse bulb did lol, i'll fix that in the day too.

It's comin along folks, I'm hopin to be at the beach tomorrow day/evening but if I stay home, you'll be getting pic's of the mirror signals too.
