MPx exhaust ftw!

just purchased MPx catback exhaust. should be here by thursday. i opted for the mufflerless rear section. i also went ahead and cut the stock muffler off ahead of time. i must say that it sounds f'n sexy! i use to own an srt4 and i think this beats it! this baby pops and crackles like no other. it has such a deep tone as well. cant wait to put this 3" catback on. also going to put catless 3" downpipe on at the same time. i will put up a video here shortly of before and after sound.

MPx is probably the one of two best sounding catbacks I've heard. Hahn being the other. Maybe someday I'll blow some money on one...

Sick dude! I swapped a resonator for my muffler and it sounds great! Maybe not at a high rev but last summer I couldn't affort anything better. I love how the srt4 sounds like...so if you can beat that I'm copying you!!!

Good luck and in for sound clip

Good luck with the install! Can't wait to hear something better than a srt4 on our cobalt! Are you LSJ or LNF?

Turbo XS is a very good choice, one of the BEST priced exhaust systems. True value there.

Hahn is over priced, you should be able to get ANY 3" SS/TC cat back for less than $500 SHIPPED.

Even with Hahns new lower prices, it still is not worth it, they are still over priced compared to other USA made brands. Turbo XS and MPX are GREAT value, and always have been.

I agree, I never said Hahn wasn't overpriced- I just said it has a sexy soundtrack. I've yet tohear the Turbo XS one myself: if it sounds good I may even consider buying it.

just make sure you keep a resonator on there hahah. i've ran straight 3" before for a day while i was waiting on the muffler shop. it sounds good at idle and thats about it. but this is the second time i've ran just a resonator and i love it with the cams.

with the turbo it really sounds pretty damn good at idle. i was sitting at a light and another cobalt pulled up next to me. some kid in flat bill hat with the sticker still on it. and asked what kind of exhaust i have. and i just chuckled and said "none what so ever". i haven't seen him since but i hope he still has an exhaust

Cobalt LSJ/T cold start - YouTube

thats what mine sounds like
