I saw the CED pics - I kinda laughed, because I could tell that at least one person was there having fun!

so did you buy a 2nd hood for this? (the one pic would have me believe this)

did the painter give a suggestion of how long that might last?

Good for you ~ for having fun, no matter what some people here might think;
I think it looks kinda neat... definitely unique!
a buddy has a CF hood, i borrowed his stock one for the time being.
it really depends on heat, just like all paint. its manufacture paint. it was done at a dealer body shop, i just happen to know the guys who work there personally.

the clear coat was done really carefully. because there are so many layers and it is not an even surface, it caused the clear to bubble. air was trapped in, around, underneath each layer.

but, it did not bubble as much as we all expected it to be.

as long as i take care of the paint while it's soft, it should last me as long as any regular clear coat, and trust me, i'm a **** when it comes to cleaning and touching my car.

Where does one buy a sticker bomb book? My daughter would love one! Hood looks great, one suggestion tho. Find someone who is badass with illustrator and have them create a print file tjat has all those stickers "in" it and have it printed on 3m 7 year car vinyl and have it laminated with 7year car laminate then apply it. Completely smooth and it's garunteed for 7 years. (I work for a car wrap place btw lol.

Looks fuggin awesome!!

I got two of the sticker bomb books off of amazon for her, she also bought a bunch of sticker books like superhero's and lego men, and stiff like that from amazon as well. There are also quite a few die cut vinyls on there.

I wouldn't suggest the actual "StickerBomb" books for kids

It's just that a lot of the artwork is more adult in nature haha

I like it. The only way I can describe it is that it's like the HOT transfer student from a foreign country: a good looker, but definitely different. ha, ha, ha.

Good werk.

It hasn't been said but did anyone calculate how much horsepower this added to the car? Liz, I think you're going to need a new clutch, that's a lot of power.
