My Halo projector LEDs dont work :(

i followed 2 of the how tos and both say that u just twist the 3 white wires together and then the 3 black wires together.

well i did this many times to make sure and i still cant get the LEDs to work. i tried recutting the wires and twisting them back together even wrapped tinfoil around it. still nothing

any ideas?

all the other lights work

also, the top lights arent orange...arent they supposed to be?

is it uncommon for them to be bad in both headlights?

try turning them different ways in the sockets...different combinations...the LED's are directional and will only work in one direction...

pull the sockets out of the holes and remove the bulbs and put them back in the socket in the other direction...try different combinations and I bet they'll work.

oh lol well all i did was follow the basic how to and didnt say anything about that. the LED wires are just going from the LEDs themselves and then twisted together.

the white wires will need to be connected with the brown wire on the headlight harness, and the black wires will need to be connected to the black wire on the headlight harness.

well, I suppost you could twist the three white wires together, use a butt connector and connect them all to one wire....then use that wire and use a wire tap, and tap into and connect it to the brown wire.......Then do the same thing with the black wires, but connect it to the black wire on the harness instead of the brown.

all you need are parts that look like this
http://tnblnx3.tnb.com/emAlbum/album...tors_intro.jpg
cut the brown wire....twist together the two ends of the brown wire with the 3 ends of the white wire, then twist one of those little connector caps on top (the yellow size fits nicely)
then do the same with the 3 black wires, and the 2 ends of the black wire that you are cutting

i got them working! except the passenger side only the middle LED lights up. all the other lights and the halos seem to be fine though. any reason why? the driver side is all good to go.

also, am i supposed to put an orange bulb on the top part?
