I can't decide if this looks out of place.. Or good....

I am thinkin it looks alright and adds a little more effect to the hood.. It's something different then anyone has done (I think)... And it's like a personal touch.. I thnk that some other stock cars have something like this done at the scoops.. Just can't really thikn of them. But I think some dodges have them

Anywaz... 1 picture is with no tinted windows. The other one is with tinted windows.. The reason I post both is.. If anyone can do a good job on tinting they can use the other picture.. I just used MSPaint to make them black to sorta give me a better feel of what my car will look like..

BTW.. I used this guys picture, as he is the only one I could get.. If someone else has a Cobalt SS with this hood and can photoshop this hood with a stock cobalt that would be great.. As I just have the stock SS kit.. But I really don't think that will make much of a difference..

My headlights are painted yellow already...

I tried it all the way to the top of the hood, but I didn't like it too much.. This way its starting from the grill part of the scoop and coming down.. It has like a starting point..

This isn't to rice out the car or anything.. To me this is suttle looking not rice looking..

But I asked for comments, and I accept them.. I wanna hear from both sides what you feel..

maybe go from the bottom of the front bumper, to the bottom of the back bumper, all the way across the top...

I do see what you mean about blending in with the grill though.

 

not sure if you have an LS or something 'better', but If youll notice on the LS, the lowest grill curves up, and if you follow the body lines, it goes right to the raised part of the hood, which would blend right into the roof, and then the trunk, and then straight down the back bumper... I've got to head out now, but i know i did a photoshop of it at one point, I'll post later if i can.

You asked if anybody could do a shot with the SS.

Personally, I don't like the look on Yellow. I think it nice on Red. Like the Jin Tuner Transformation car.

I think it looks decent. I wouldnt necessarily do it but its ok. It sorta looks like it adds some length to the car. I would play around with my options though. If that was the only black thing on your car it might kinda look pointless...
