Canada My interior/exterior project

Well, since I was sick and tired of my interior, I've decided to do some work on it and here's the first pics I took of my new mods...More to come!

Looks awesome -- keep up the good work!! Got a link to my interior mods in my sig--maybe you might see something that would give you some ideas...couple other guys posted in there with their mods as well, which turned out well too. I'm not done with mine yet--still need to sand down passenger side piece and reinstall.

Well, 3 ways:

1- You can buy a set of red trims from GM but it's expensive..Around $200 I think..
2- You can buy a new set of red trims on ebay..

3- The way I did, by pulling them out and paint them yourself with Krylon Fusion spray paint...But I don't think the red paint from Krylon will be exactly the same as your Balt color..

^^ how's the Krylon holding up? Any peeling or chipping issues? I've never used that kind of paint before, so just curious. What's the finish like? Matte, semi-gloss, or shiny/gloss?

Thanks dude, I'm not done yet with the mods...I'm thinking of replacing the cloth of the roof with leather, it would be nice (and expensive)...My Recaros are black too with the embroyment silver..Wish I had Recaros black and yellow!

Perhaps someday I'll fork out the cash to get the mesh removed and red leather installed as inserts.

I think the headliner idea is awesome--I'd go for it when you can afford it Good luck with it all! I'm having a blast with mine. Did some vacuum hose replacement (red) and am adding red trim to replace OEM spark plug cover, which is now aluminum and red, but will be black/red after winter--and I want to finish it off with a black valve cover and black supercharger with red ribs.

No peeling or chipping yet..It hardens in 24 hours and takes 7 days to harden completely..Finish for the glove box is satin and for the trims it's glossy, but not as glossy as the paint you use on metal to stop the rust you know...

Looks like black-cat customs.

Nice mods dude! Looks like you're working hard!

You have a 2.4L auto coupe? i didn't know it came with roll up windows. Love the interior dude, and the new gauges are WONDERFUL. Happy modding man.

Yup, Black-cat custom gauge...Not to hard to replace but had a rough time with the pointers...And unfortunately, I have a 2.2L...I want it to look like a SS....Back in June, if I knew I would get such a nice job as right now, I would have bought a SS/SC but I'm on a lease so...in 3 years I'll get another one, a SS/TC maybe...

You need to take off the seatbelts by unscrewing the big bolts..That's the hard part, they're really tight cuz the added some lock-tite...And you need to take out your rear seats as well..

I was tring to loosen the big bolts there and they sounded luike they were going to snap.... or were they just making that noise because of the lock-tite....?

I stripped one of the bolt trying to take it off and ended up at the garage to get rid of them...
