yep a decal. the paint i used for the visors made them rough or else i would have had it stitched in

not really the pieces are just spray painted with vinyl spray that is. i did wetsand and wax the pieces but its not perfect hardest part was getting the headliner out wrapping it was easy took about an 100 for it to dry and such although i think i left it all night out.

other than that nuthin really hard about it

easy to wrap it rather than spray it if thats what ur worried about either way theres no going back lol

my interior is being changed over to black pretttty soon.

i want to do the headliner but what is the process for recovering it? just take the old material off spray adhesive on it and lay the new material on?

real headliner from a fabric store. and no you dont take the old off just spray adhesive on it like 3 coats and about 3 coats on ur new material and lay it out and even it out.

yes its actually called headliner fabric i forget the place i got mine just a huge fabric place

anyway i got like 2 yards and it should be the much wider kind not the small stuff you see at like walmart and stuff like that

i had enough left over to tuck and even cut some off.

yes you can get cloth instead of headliner material and wrap it in that also
i thought of doing suede but it just looks greyish to me so i passed on that

so is black cloth different than black headliner material?

yes cloth is different than headliner material headliner material is like a foam type and cloth is just simply cloth

nice start BUT the leftover glue from the airbag sticker looks very sloppy...I just taped them off for a oem look when I did this years ago.
