The outers are from eBay, inner ones are freshly modded.

Used the flexible LED strips you can buy from http://www.oznium.com plus a few diodes and resistors

I got my outer lights from kazespeed, but I'm sure there must be more than one person that sells them.

As for the length of the strips, I had to get the 18" and cut them down, cause the 9.5" was just a little short to make it all the way around the light.

Very nice! I like how you tied in to the park, and the brake. I do prefer how mine signal with the outer though.
Oh, and your licence plate ftw! My favourite is 1701-E, and NX-59650 though!

Dude the Prometheus was a badass ship. That thing could kick your ass three times (literally) before you even knew what the hell it was lol. Okay enough geek jokes :P

I thought about wiring the inners up to be signals as well, but I figured that the outers were bright enough to get the point across. Well, that and I woulda had to run more wire up the trunk lid to do it, so, screw that. lol.

You need more than just a resistor to do that. I used two diodes to keep the electricity from flowing backwards down the wires making other things light up that shouldn't be. All you need to do is put the resistor on the parking light wire so that the LEDs have the dim look, and put a diode on after that as well as on the brake wire. That way the LEDs can be powered by two wires at once, without buggering up the rest of the lights on the car.
