Soon everyone will have these. I'm sure the people that drive Evo MR's will get a kick out of cobalts trying to pull off the look.

Only if you believe aerodynamics DO NOT apply to cars...BTW, VGs are not very effective on a EVO because of the severe angle drop of the backlite...no VG in the world can keep the laminar flow attached with that sudden change in vector...Cobalt's roof line is very much like the upper surface of an airplane wing...very gentle transition so the VGs will be more effective in reducing drag as our speed increases...

okay it helps airplanes flying at much, MUCH higher speeds than cars and it helps when on the wings that adjust. our car roofs dont change angles.

even if it does help aerodynamics ever so slightly i just think it looks ridiculous... my 2 cents.

Thats ok...if I try to make my car so that everyone would approve, I'd die trying because that's impossible and besides the point...that's what the car culture is NOT about...

BTW, our car does not change angle but it mimics the same angle change as the speed increases...the fast the car goes, the more the air wants to separate from the roof line...the VG helps to reduce these separation so in effect you will benefit from drag increase at higher speed than you would experience without the VGs...I slept at the Holiday Inn so don't take my word for it...

The most aerodynamic object is one that is either in a vacuum or stationary...

ya one of the better free ways.. people should actually try this because in theory those shark fin things (forgot what they are called after this vodka drink) actually do help the air flow over the back of the vehicle.
