your cobalt looks tired. bowtie up front looks alot better than the orange color it comes in. did you do the rear emblem too? can't wait to see some pics of the HID kit installed.

 

Now that you mention it to me it looks grumpy . LOL !
I completly removed the rear emblem. Easier to wax and cleaner look.

where did u get the eyelids?

 

Had them done at my Graphix Sponsor. Custom Work. He had to really work with it to get it done. They did a flawless job. -Erik-

would it not be possible to get the same look by having a body shop paint the lids on?
I am a painter and I can get a product for anything so it seems that painting should be an option. I will talk to my shop guy next week as I have a couple of things for him to do. One of those is to also touch up where the holes are under the front bowtie as I am doing the same as you with the SS.

 

I like that alot.

 

hey erik let me know how much those eyelids cost i want something similar to that on mine and it looks like they did a good job, i wonder how closely they could match the color

Love the eye lids Erik...im going to hit up annarbor plastics and see if they can make me some agressive looking ones, about how much was it to get them made? Also, victoryredss...how did u replace your bowtie with an SS symbol, does it just pull off?

I agree that the car looks sleepy. i don't like lids on headlights. on the other hand, the bowtie is sweet and i bet the HID's do too. the only headlight mod i've liked are the painted lights, corvette style.

 

Yes, it does look sleepy but I couldn't stand the HUGE headlight look. Just a temp mod for now though. In my original post I stated I too would preferr the painted headlight look. Just waiting to buy some on ebay.

Tedro - Yours do look very aggressive but like you stated in your edit they block out alot of the light. Looks grumpy ! All we need is the other 5 dwarfs ! Mine being Sleepy !
