Just a funny side story if anybody cares. Since I got my car, my mom has been complaining and yelling at me for putting money in to my car. Well, today I stopped by her at work, and I overheard her gloating on how I'm working oh so hard on my car, and how she is so proud of me. And now like 5 minutes ago, she asked me to e-mail her a few photos to her work so she can show everybody. I am starting to think my mom is falling in love with my cobalt.

 

i like how you tinted the tails except for the backup lights how did you do that was it hard to do or not?

na, it really wasn't that hard. The hardest part was trying to tape in a circle to cover all the white for the reverse lights. The lights took 4 coats of VNT Nightshade, and a coat of clear coat.

dam that looks good wishi i wouldve thought of that b4 i painted mine.....was it hard to do the headlights??? thats the next thing i wanna do to my exterior

LOL! yea, I put that there temporarily, until I find something else to put there. I wanted to try and keep bugs and rocks out of there.

Dammm that does look pretty sexy, I love the headlights and that was a great idea with taping off the reverse lights? Stupid question, did you take the lights out and then paint them? How hard was it to take them out if you did

I had thaught of doing that to mine before I painted mine but then decided it was just easier to paint the entire thing. That and I got a alot of feedback to just paint the entire thing. Anyways it looks good.

 

kinda looks like it might need wetsanded and cleared again. but looks good.

 

yea, thats a project this weekend.
