it takes some finesse, and a little elbow grease!! you have to make sure to take them straight off too, so you don't break a clip... what i did was pull them out a little so i could fit a flathead in, and then stuck the flathead in the clip and twisted so it popped out without pulling too much...

I know you can get the black ones from a pontiac pursuit.

I don't know if they ever came stock in a cobalt though, anyone?

Looks really good.

And I'm assuming the paint you used, is the same as the exterior.

That looks sweet as hell! I might just do that for the horizonal rails. I think the radio might be too much.... Have you seen anyone with the orange color door inserts yet?

Looks great. I would also like to do some color match trim stuff, but I think I've already got too much yellow in the interior, so I might not do that after all.

Im having the exact same thing done to mine. I was suppost to get the trim back today but my painter was a little busy so I have to go pick it up tomarrow. I didnt know the dealerships have spray cans of color matched paint or I wouldve done it myself. O well Im sure Its gonna looks just as good as your if not a little better j/k. I'll post pics when i get mine installed back into the car.

P.S.
I has the cupholder and the trim around the shifter painted too but not the knobs on the radio. Also gonna work on painting the headlights this weekend.

You guys may have noticed the center console area where the cup holder and shifter is that the black looks darker and more vibrant the reason for that is becuase to get the paint to stick on the molded plastic around the shifter the painter had to use an adhesive promoter. The oversray from that got onto the black plastic and imediately faded it to a greyish white color. To fix it he got some special trim paint to match and then used some kind of cleaner on it. Once i clean the rest of the interior things will look the same color. Also im thinking about getting some of the trim paint and paintind part of my door panel black. Just the section from the window to under the door handle. Kinda work the black and neutral in a little more of a contrasting look. Also at that time i may take the plastic from behind the door handles and paint them orange

I think the trim is looking very nice, I really like the radio knobs too, but I am not digging the 1/2 black, 1/2 tan interiors. I think it's taking away from how nice your car could look.
