So I was driving down 95 yesterday and it was kinda nice out so i had my sunroof open. Then next thing you know I see the guy in front of me throw something out of his sunroof. So I think to myself **** I better speed up or this thing is gonna it my windshield. So I did and the next thing you hear is glass braking. So im looking all at my front window dont see anything look at the back nothing than look up at my sunroof and it is BROKE!! So I try to go catch this guy and get a tag number but than all I see out my rear view are parts of my sunroof flying. So I pull over on the side of the road and start picking parts of it off and im looking at the rest of my car and there are scratches on my roof, my trunk and my spoiler from the big parts of glass. Long story short I hate a**holes that throw things from there cars and now I have to pay $100 to get it fix through my insurance and im not gonna have my car for a while. Here are some pics....

No i went to go after the guy and thats when i saw the parts flying of the back of my car and i didnt wanna hurt anybody else car getting messed up and my girlfriend is my insurance agent and she said its not gonna go against me so i dont have to worry about my insurance going up

 

damn wtf did he throw. That's just stupd if you throw anything out the window big enough to break glass. and just plain retarded to throw it out the sunroof. What a douchebag.

Yeah what the hell did that guy throw out of his car a cinder block? I'm sorry man. I hate people who litter, and it's illegal, you did the right thing by stopping instead of continuing to chase him, but yeah if you did get his plate #, and did press charges he would have gotten fined for littering but also in deep sh*t for the destruction of your property.

Had a couple kids throw a couple pop cans at my car, one late night and I chased those ****'s through 2 red lights and right out of the county...

 

I would of chased the car down.

 

Yeah well before i started taking pieces of it the hole was about the size of beer bottle

trust me i was gonna chase him down but i figured glass flying off my car would not be to safe for the other drivers out there behind me

 

from what I understand, it wouldn't have mattered if you got his plates unless you managed to find a way to prove that he did the damage.

how bad are the scratches? probably not too bad, right?

 

The scratches on the roof are not that bad but the ones on the trunk are like chunks of paint down to the metal taken out. Yeah if i would have gotten his tag number my insurance agent told me that i could get his insurance to pay for it. It is just like if you have a truck and something falls out the back and hits someones car its still your fault

 

Well that sucks man I hate when people do **** like that. But you did the right thing by thinking of other poeple on the road and stopping. Good luck with the repairs.

Sounds to me like he may have targeted your car if he threw somthing that big out of the sunroof

yeah thats my only worry now is that its gonna leak or whistle. Cause i had no problems with it before.
