Did you put somethin inside the shield? They look kinda grayish I hooked mine up so they're extra blu whenever anybody looks at em, lights on or off looks good tho, how do you got the halos wired up??

If you put somethin inside the projectors in front of the cutoff shield you can change the color of the light, an how the light looks when you look at it.. hit up hidplanet.com you can get some good ideas out there even with the buyhid ones

Edit:: this one guy put part of a coke can an it turned red.. I used painters tape, i turned a puuuuuurfect blue like I wanted
I'm real picky an it turned out exactly how I wanted, if you need some help, pm me, I'll put you on game... wit mah still drunk ass

Should move down here, we only use sand lol. It gets a bit dirty at the start of spring before they sweep it all up but it's way better then salt on our cars.

Headlight's look sick man, I just painted my stockers but your's make me wish I had the time and money to build a set of retro's. Good job

Like I said on OCC, very nice. That picture of the cutoff makes me really realize how much I need to fix mine hahaha.

Remember kits, test fit and level the projectors prior to sealing the headlights...lol

Finished pictures should look good.

lol this is my second time around. i bought the retros off of brad (mini 3ini) or whatever his screen name is lol and i wanted um on my car right away, so i tore apart my stocker and threw um in, the leveling was a little off, and decided i wanted to do a proper retro build, so i bought a new set and did it right and took my time so i could have a set on my car while i did them lol so i didnt have to do it all in one afternoon

Quick question for you. How did you get the reflector detached from the housing? Pulled like hell or is there a trick? I broke one of the clips on my gen4s and I'd really like to NOT do it with my stock lights.

i dunno ive done it twice..once was fine..once not so much, i flipped it over stock a flat head screw driver on the mounting things and hit it with a hammer, the first set of lights i did it to worked like a charm, this set however broke off two of the mounting locations, like on the reflector its self, but just on one of the headlights, a little epoxy and it was as good as new lol,

you dont have to take um off to paint them

Thanks. I got them off by heating them with a hair dryer and pulling. These were WAY easier than the 4th gens. The clips are much more flexible. I was nervous for nothing. Good luck with your retro. TLs are going into mine this week.
