yea i know i can but this was easier and they guy that runs the yaed just let me have it for free. the only thing that cost me was the energy to cut the wires lol.
and to figure how to wire it so it will work with the LED strip and it will cut off when its shut.
the fun part will be finding a ground and a power wire.

you'll see the line where its two part the one towards the back comes off it on with metal push pops clips. it comes right off thou,

run a fuse along from a fuse that has constant power.

oh ok.
so splice a wire and use a fuse in that wire that runs to the leds?

so...

fuse box----+wire-----/splice/---------------
from splice-----fuse----LED

right?

no.....silly....if you go to the auto store. go in the aisle that has fuses you see an think the looks like a fuse with a slot with two 10amp fuse in it or two slots, with a black a red wire you would soder your wire to this and then put this in a slot that has constant power in the fuse box, it makes it so you dont have to splice anything of the cars.

they might be called fuse adapters ...

haha im not the best at wiring. me+wiring=headache

so it fits in the fuse box itself? but gives me wires to solder to? sweet!
i hope i dont have to take off any pannels to run the wires...
its a PITA cuz i always feel that im gonna snap something or crack one

naw you shouldnt break anything you should only have to take that fuse box panel off.... and yeah it has like 6inchs of wire on it....it should run you 5-10 for it. and you might have to by some wire depending how long the wire is on the switch you got
