I painted my intercooler the other day and the top part of the lip cuts off the bottom inch or so of the lettering. I want to just cut that top part off but I'm not just about to hack away at my front end. Here's a pic, any advice on how to do this properly would be awesome. Thanks

 

Re-paint IMO before cutting
