Need help!!!!
so today i was gna paint my rims and got paint remover.
one major problem it wont remove all the paint off the rim.
been working at it all day. keep in mind these are aftermarket gunmetal rims
need to know wats the best paint remover.
i tried klean-strip aircraft remover and a paint remover from home depot.
its getting some of it but very slowly.
any suggestions?????

Your best bet is to take it to a paint shop or sandblasting shop and have it stripped. The wheel finishes are usually pretty tough to get off (unless it is the cheaply painted stock cobalt wheels).
i never suggested to remove all the old paint, you need to get acetone and some sandpaper, their is not an easy way around this, some good ol' elbow grease and good sandpaper is what you will need
be careful with the clear coat, use a clear coat that is not an engine clear coat, for some reason engine clear coat paint makes it cloudy, use like a krylon or duplicolor clear coat
