im in the process of trying to take my stock grill out and paint it black, but i cant seem to take the grill out ?? anyone know how

Take the bowtie off (2 bolt behind the grill) Plastic clips under the hood (that plastic fan shield thing is attached to your grill)

got all the plastic clips off and it wont budge

It snaps into the front bumper with a bunch of clips molded to the front end. They CAN be a bitch to undo.
