Need some help Trooper GOT ME

Well guys just gonna try for Ive helped others when in need with tools or leftover stock parts for free and just have them pay shipping. This is my first ticket for tint in ten years lol My tint was to dark, headlights, rear marker lights and tails. So since all my stuff is custom painted the same shade of black as my car to give a cleaner look i dont have stock ones to swap out. If someone would be willing to help Ill pay for ship to me and return, just need them for a few days then will send them back. So if you have some parts sittn around help me out for he also gave me 280 in fines aswell for this plus a repair order.lol. Just asking no harm no fou,l thanks guys.

why dont u just pay the bill.... cuz even if u swap them back and u get pulled over again... wat are u gonna do... get peopel to lend parts again? ur pretty much spending the money for shipping twice and u can used that money to pay the ticket... **** i used 2 get pulled over for my tints all the time... i just paid it off because i think its unfair when cops have tints on their own personal cars and even on undercover cars

**** the law! don't ever remove anything u added because of a ticket, just pay it. Plus removing is basically wasting your money.

i have to pay the fine and get it to pass theres no either or. And yes at some point it would be nice to have spares but not in the same month I have to pay for the fines. as far as in the future I will just have my doctor write off on the tint for I have a perscription for my extra sensitive eyes lol.

registration will be flagged and tags suspended so prob not for they only give you ten day on the inpsection ticket for the heads n tails and a trooper at the dmv has to visualy inpsect the tint on the car to see if its legal or has been corrected or removed. sucha joke I was not speeding at all and the fine is to be paid in 30 days. I would love to just pay fine and go about my biz but its not a option per my tickets wording.

Awesome advice! Pay the ticket, don't change anything......Get pulled over again, pay the ticket, don't change anything...... Now if that's not wasting money, then I don't know what is.

its funny I could go get a 88 chevy truck put a howling coyote mural on the back window that completly hides my double barrel sawed off shot gun that would hang from homemade hooks from bones of my last victom but god forbid a cobalt hamster wagon puts 20% tint on his window that during the day is like almost no diff from 35% anyway lookn on ebay for some type of light replacemnt for this ride thru and wow people want alot for junk. Better off buying some type of projector but are they even leagal?

IL laws changed, its not illegal to have tint in IL, just have to be able to see a silhouette of the driver and they wont bug you anymore.

lol that got me a warning the first day he gave me 24 hrs to remove it (this was 4% all around had for almost a year and he was first bit of trouble) i was working 12 hr shifts at the time so i got off at 7 at night and went home ate showered and went to bed forgot all about it till way there next morning. so i rolled my windows down and he pulled into my works parking lot and told me i was getting a ticket in the mail for my windows.. i have 35 now on fronts but backs are still 4 which is still illegal but he told me first day i needed 35 to be fine so idk wil see what happens i just open sun roof visor thing when i go buy to allow more light in the car..

Ive honestly been lookn at other cars all nite lol. Whats the laws for the inside of the light housing?

i cant stand when people stop breaking the law....cops break the law also and they can get away with it... i live around the block from a cop station and their own personal cars have tints on them! and on top of that, i know cops that have modified muscle cars, that arent even state approved and they are driving them on the street like its nothing... i prob said this once before but cops arent saving people... it turned into a big business! its all about money.... samething with dmv

well found a kid that needs cash so im hopen that the offer I gave him for 70 bucks and he helps me swap lights out and ride up to the trooper station so they can see car and sign off on ticket and then go home and swap lights back out. 70 seems fair to me for mabe a 1hr's time right? My lights look way to damn good on the car give in to easy. Ima just ride around with marker lights on all time now. Ive talked to 3 troopers that are friends with my brother who is a paid firefighter and they all said same thing, what a dick. For he only needed to give repair order and not fine me for having it. lol Just gonna stay positve and just pay fine pay this kid and retint the car.

Just a update, big thanks to the cop who is intouch for whats important when you have a badge. Car is still the same as it was when pulled over and the repair order is signed off. Still gota pay the fine tho, but not haven to change out all my lights and buy new ones was great. Still may in the future lightn the tint up for I have a feeling this wont be the last time for my lights realy push the limit with being the same shade of black as the car and much rather have them the dark ass tint.
