if you and somthig to show you have a 2.4, get a badge off an ION 3. they have the chrome emblem that would look btter than that sticker.

 

I never got to test drive an Si but I did sit in one and that shifter is pretty sex....

 

I never bothered with stickers to differentiate my engine, but I did put the badge on the back. Actually I mainly did it to keep people from mistaking me for an SC or TC ever since I installed the bumper lips. I didn't use the Ion badge though, didn't like the look of it too much.

 

Definitely a good idea. I've seen that sticker on eBay. I would cut out the "powered by" letters thought. Btw they do have one for 2.2. On the other hand I got bashed for my ss emblem on the front grille saying it's like a civic. So yeah cc08 it is a confusing world.

 

I think it looks good, each person has their own opinion. A sticker like that won't make it a "ricer"

 

It also depends on who gets it on their car. I know if cc08 or me gets it we gonna get called ricer and bashed. LOL

 

i took the ss emblem off the back of my car so now i only have the ss on the sides...i wouldnt lie to someone saying its supercharged...usually hwne someone asked i get all depressed and i say..no....but if the ss emblem affected the pirce of that car..which it did...why would i want to slap some sticker on the side just so i dont offend ss/sc people...i mena fact of the matter they beat me everyday anytime its just a fact

Alright so to the OP.. the 2.4 sticker is actually kind of cool. Very subtle down in the corner of the door. It says you can order them with 2.2 on them. I wouldn't mind getting a pair, since I do have the "almighty two point two" No ricin there, they almost look factory.. haha.

Also, does anyone else think the decals would look good more up on the door, right under the window near the edge of the door/fender gap? I'm trying to imagine it.. but where it is in the photo would still look better.

you shouldn't have any problems putting ss badges on it..you're an '05-'07 yes? well that is an ss trim car. the '08+ 2.4 is not an ss trim. it is sport. sport does not equal ss

 

I'm an 06. But carguy said I'm a 2.2. LOL. Can't he see the big black letters on my sig that says 2.4. Duh

 

hmmmm... I got them but now I'm rethinking it, I wanted like a light gray so I went with the silver, but now the dark gray looks like the better choice. damn lol

 

Instead of a rather ugly decal. Why not a badge that looks like it was there when it rolled off the line. And IMO should of been there anyway.

 

that looks good. Random question: Is the 2.4, lets say "sport", rear bumper the same as the LS/LT/etc. only with the lip thing? and if so could something like it be applied to the LS's to dress it up a bit?

Now that I'm looking at it though I don't see a way to interchange something like that, and i see it is different, its straight all the way across, where the lower models have it lower and a cut out for the exhaust. So I guess I answered my own question. [/useless post]

 

the 2.4 SS/Sport coupe bumper is the same as the SS/SC bumper but with a different rear valance/ lip.

 

The LS/LT rear bumpers and the SS (NA/SC/TC) bumpers are not the same. They are shaped differently along the bottom.
