New appearance mod!!! Hope you like it!
today is my birthday btw. Well I got in a crash today some guy stole gas this morning in Cranston and he was running from the cops. They lost track of him. I ended up behind him on elbow at heritage. The light turned red so everyone stopped an then a cop car came up the wrong side of the road and parked infront of the 2 lanes. The guy had a f-350 and he just put it in reverse and floored it ramming me, he rode up onto my hood and started pushing me back. I ended up hitting a Sierra behind me. He then put it in drive an floored it again and side swiped a civic, bounced off of him, then plowed a Saturn vue from behind. He smashed his way through everyone and ended up getting away. The cops had gotten out of the car an had their guns drawn but they didn't do anything. My hood is straight fucked, grille is broken, headlight smashed, and fender dented quite a bit by the hood. My bumper cover is also smashed by the grille. My rear end is fine and the sierra is too. Civic had to be towed as it's wheel well was smashed in. I only have plpd so looks like I will have to pay for it, if the truck turns out to be stolen, all in all my dad figures 4k in damages. What a shitty start to my birthday
his insurance wont cover it because
a. he might not have any
b. the truck might be stolen, therefore the insurance company can deny coverage
c. if it was his truck, his insurance can deny coverage for him committing a crime and they dont have to cover him
D. THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN CATCH HIM!!!!
the only way i get money out of it is if
a. the truck was stolen with the keys in it. the owner of the truck is liable and their insurance pays
b. i sue him for it, if they catch him. (emotional distress getting thrown in there too)
my dad talked to a lawyer about all of this

pretty sure ull have to go see a psychologist and **** to prove it. you are more likely to get a punitive damages rewarded since the act was pretty bad and the judge might try to punish this Aden guy.
when you are suing somebody (in civil/tort law not criminal law) its your duty to prove you suffered damages. stuff like you car needs a $3180 paintjob, $678 bumper and a statement from a medical professional stating that in his professional opinion that u suffered mentally bcus of the accident. the defendants does not necessarily have to disprove anything.
id possibly consider talking to a different lawyer as it kinda sounds as if is promising a large settlement without merit. ie hes trying to get u to hire him...

I just noticed you have four digits on an Alberta plate and my mind is blown. When did that **** start? Last year sometime, I guss... but I haven't actually seen one.
More importantly... how the **** did he get away? That's a poor showing by yyc cops, IMO

He got away because:
A: they were too ***** to shoot him when he almost hit one of the cops (came 2 feet from hitting him)
B: there was only 1 patty wagon and 2 cops and they both were out of the wagon.
But like 20 secs after he hit everyone there was like 6 cars and the new ghost truck there. They should've gone after him, get the chopper on him and then just wait until he stops then move in right away. But at least they know who he is as I posted above

Seriously glad your okay man. Sounds like something you see on Wild Police Chases.
One of the reasons I put full coverage on all my cars. You never know when something's going to happen. Not sure how old you are, or how Canada works, but I got a huge price drop at age 25.
GL with everything.

Two things, I would say that my neck hurts. Secondly, you don't have uninsured motorist? I do, and I used it the first week I had my car when someone ran into me in a gas station. Emotional distress, ain't gonna happen. Even here in sue happy California, that stuff doesn't fly. Sorry about your car though dude.

Wow, what a waste of life. But seriously, he's in an F350. Even if it has a 30 gallon tank, all they'd have to do would be to follow him 5 blocks and he'd be out of gas again.
