new cluster

hey guys not too sure whether or not this fits here, kinda does cuz its appearance related, but i was thinking of swapping out the stock 2.4 gauge cluster/info area for the ss/sc one. would this be a direct replacement or would anything need to be adjusted or changed?

Make sure you get an '07 cluster. Everything will work fine, direct plug and play; the cluster reads the signal and displays the correct RPM and speed.

alright cool man thanks. i was just thinking that since the speedometer went to a higher number sumthing would conflict but this sounds great. i kinda hate the stock 2.4 one.... need sumthing a little more dressy

edit: so it HAS to be from the same year? all i can find is one off of an 06 ss/sc... i would probably be able to make any program adjustments with some help of a buddy of mine

I do believe something changed between 06 and 07... it might work with an '06 but there could be problems with the DIC's full functionality.
