took me a little while specially the valve cover in order to get it smooth and shinny you really need some elbow grease wet sanding!!

i just powdercoated mine. theres no way i could have prepped it to where i wanted it and then painted it without it failing. ive painted others and they hold up just fine.

so you thin mine will just hold up fine?? I would love to powder coat stuff but don't have the space for an oven and my wife would freak the hell out if I use the kitchen oven

yours should be fine if you prepped it right. the difference between your valve cover and the lnf valve cover is by the bolts on the lnf theres indentations where as yours are smooth. the indentations prevent me from scuffing the metal and cleaning throughly hense the paint would fail eventually. i did a 240sx valve cover which is pretty much just like yours. flat all over. its lasted just fine.

Very nice paint job. Probably one of the nicest 2.2L N/A engine bays. Good work!
