I've let a member on here take mine off because I forgot about it and he got it off in about 3 seconds.

Replacement for the oil CAP, right?

Did you run this off a cnc or is it a one off hand worked piece? No problems with sealing?

If you did do it off a cnc, I can see a pretty good market for this - make enough in one run and you could keep the cost down. Few little tweaks in the programming and you could put whatever logo / lettering you want on the top, charge a little more for a custom job

Looks sweet either way, nice job

We made it on the CNC's here at the shop....we originally made them for the newer saabs...they just happened to be they same as most of the new GM caps

Yep, that would work since Saab is using the ecotec as well

So, since you are set up on the cnc you should be able to crank them out relatively cheap. I know that aluminum is crazy expensive right now (I work in aviation and source it for our machine shop) - how much do you figure you would need to clear a bit of profit on these?

Hope the mods don't mind us exploring the potential here, I know they would want you to get vendor status (don't forget the cost of that in your calculations) to actually sell them on here but if the price is reasonable I would be interested Looking for a little dress up under the hood at some point, this looks like a good start or maybe the finishing touch
