New Floor Matts
New Floor Matts
From Lloyds:
These matts cover a bit more area than stock. When gas peddle is FLOORED, the very bottom of the peddle makes slight contact with the carpet (stock matt doesn't go that high up). Does not interfere with it in any way. Driver side has fastening hole for stock hook.
Got the pair $125 shipped...custom Logos and Red border.

Same problem with mine, so what I did I just moved the mat over to left some and BAM problem solved. Also, mine got a hole in them about 2 1/2 months of use
stupid little dip on the floor that your heel is in when you're shifting.
Here's a link describing this type of carpet:
Ultimats Automotive Floor Mats by Lloyd Mats
There appears to be a small *sink hole* space under the floor carpet where the gas peddle is, so the carpet in slightly pushed into that when it's completely floored. No big deal.

it looks like either Lloyds changed their design, or something has goobered up - I just acquired a set of these, posted up to see who else had them, then did another search for posts about them...
here's my thread - in it you can clearly see the drivers side mat is different - where your gas pedal makes contact with the mat, the heel of my shoe touches the ribbing;

and afterall they're just floor mats... how perfect do they need to be - they're just going to get dirty
did you recently order these?

Why it's different now is anyone's guess. I know most matts (like Modern Perf) are like yours.
looks good. just dont get the gas pedal stuck to the floormat. i washed my car last winter and forgot to clip my winter floor matt in and i flew down the street after leaving the wash only to find my car at 4k rpms bugging out because i didnt know why it was doing that not realizing i didnt clip my matt in.
