So to paint the stock lamps costs the same as an entirely brand new set of ours? Seems high. I'd rather have two sets or even sell the stockers off on Ebay or something to make some money back.
Only as shown - sorry. Amber is required by DOT regulation.

Incorrect. It's not a projector beam - just a standard halogen housing. The projector beam (second one I posted) would be more applicable to HID but I can't say if DOT law would permit you to install HID or not. I doubt they've been cleared (legally) for HID.
No, it costs significantly less than 200 dollars to simply pull our factory lights apart and paint the housing black....I think that was point the poster was making when he asked how much you wanted for them...
As for the amber being recquired by law....Just about about every place I've lived has recquired amber light to be present in the corners, but not an amber reflector within the headlight itself. That is to say, I'm guessing the question was asked because a lot of use(myself included) simply painted the amber reflector black to match the housing, and removed the amber lens cover over the corner bulb and replaced it with an amber bulb.

Hey, no need to be rude
We pay to sponsor the forum and advertise. It's not like we spray paint stockers black and sell them. These were actually molded and produced. You are getting brand new headlamps for the money. I'm betting stockers cost more than that even.

yes, to buy new factory headlamps is expensive, however...The cost of a can or two of spray paint, some sealer and a few minutes in the oven costs about 20, maybe 25 bucks.
I could see the lamps with the angel eyes and projectors selling more units than the "factory" like headlamps

I understand, but you still have a homejob hack job
These are proper black housing lamps. Plus, as they age, break, etc, people will want to replace stockers anyway. This is a good alternative for those folks. It's cool that you don't like them or think they are expensive, but I just don't see why people have to go out of their way to talk badly about someone else's post...only happens on certain forums though. Oh well
I'm doing my job by telling the forum about them. Enjoy!

I'm doing my job by telling the forum about them. Enjoy!Whoa, ease up a bit man, I haven't slammed your gear once, just clarified a few posts. To be honest, 1-Product slams happen on EVERY forum, and 2-Yes, I agree, for those that don't want to paint their lights, it is a good alternative, but to call what a lot of us have done a "Homejob hack job? Let me cut it clearly for you.
We take pride in our projects, and if you've looked around, you'll find that these home jobs do not look tacky at all, in fact, they apparantly look so nice, some company has saw fit to cash in on the modification. The same goes for your angel eyes as well...News flash guy...if it werent' for our "homejob hack jobs", you wouldn't be on here pushing anything right now...In fact, as far as cars go in general. If it weren't for myself, and many other auto enthusiasts of all makes and models sitting in garage and coming up with an idea, someone like you has no job, since there would be no company jumping in on what we have already done and mass producing it...
I respect you coming on the board and selling product, but always remember where that product came from originally, because it came from someone's garage. you'll lose a lot of sales throwing terms like that out, choose them wisely, because there are far to many people that work on cars that actually know what is going on with a vehicle, and know what is worth a dime, and what isn't.
I'm not bashing the product, just his comment...If I ever decided to upgrade to hid/projector, I'd consider buying the sample unit he pictured, since I have neither the knowledge experience or funds to perform the retro fit myself. Also, as I said earlier, for the person that isn't comfortable taking apart theit units to do a paint over at home, these are a good alternative, since alot of us don't really like the other available replacements with the led crap at the top(The ones that people get, and suffer from the led's blowing on them within the first month).
