i like the idea and execution...but not placement. i think if you were to place them to be able to have air blow right over the blower it would function/look a lot better

and what would be the advantage to having the vents right over the blower? If you say cool the blower down I'm gonna laugh my ass off cause i can put my hand on my blower and not even have to worry about gettin burned after sittin in rush hour traffic for 45 minutes coming home from work...

no just better air flow through the engine bay, and its just personal oppinion on the looks of it. i don't really like it in the middle. but like i said thats just my oppinion.

but how is your sc not hot after a drive like that? do you have any mods? cause i'm completely stock and just driving to my friends house(about 10 miles) i can't keep my hand on it. and i granny drive it there

All I have is the CAI. Do you have anything to monitor your IAT's? If your H/E pump is dead the whole setup's gonna get hotter than hell and your IAT2's are gonna go through the roof! My IAT2's are generally about 20* above my IAT1's and will float up to as much as 40* at a red light or while I'm sitting still in traffic. If you think about it if your H/E pump is functioning correctly and keeping the heat out of the intake and you have cool air flowing through the blower it should never really get all that hot and no where near as hot as the block or the head...
