New hood

I seen the RK sport hood for the cobalt but I was wandering if there was a carbon fiber one out there. Also do you guys like the SS with the RK hood on it.

Here you go: RK Sport - Ram Air Hood (Carbon Fiber)

You can buy it directly from RK Sport. Price tag of $895.95. $300 more than the fiberglass. I have yet to find anyplace that sells the carbon fiber one. I know that Gravana sells just the fiberglass one. I personally like the hood. My $0.02.

Question, does it work as a functional ram air hood . Also are you going to make, or do you know of a ram air kit being made. How bout a short ram air intake?

RamAir is a gimic. You might get some cooler air under the hood to reduce underhood temps but thats about it. Stick with a CAI, you will see the most gains. If you like the look of the vent by all means get the hood, but that combined with a short ram isnt going to show any additional gains.

I just figured if they came out with a functional Ram air hood for the SS/SC, there would be no restriction what so ever. Plus I just like the idea better and would want to be different.
