Its just an open scoop, the funtioning part comes if you buy their intake that they don't have made yet!

Wrong, it is not just a "open scoop" its actualy channeled to the intake. which there is a intake for the car coming out which will make it a good deal.

i dont think ive got any pics of THIS hood underneath, but i can find you another example if youd like.

Sorry man I was only going off what its description said in this threads link. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/cobalt-performance-parts-128/new-hood-56333/

Heres the link to his description. Now I'm interested to see who's right and how this thing looks underneath.

Heeey he changed the description to say "don't know yet" well maybe not those words but I'm close.

800 dollars for the hood and the intake together would probably be a good deal, still think that i am going to stick with the clean look of carbon fiber, great hood though just not for me

I've seen the underside of the RK hood if thats the one youre thinking of. I think my question was intended to be more along the lines of "for who is this a functional hood? the 2.2/2.4 or the LSJ? Can we see exactly what it looks like under there?"

edit: we need to get ahold of suncoast so they can get us a little more informed and maybe help sell some of their hoods.

Ya know thats just flat out ridiculous. Who is making the prices. I guess they are going to try and test the luck of people really wanting the hood and get the money real quick out of them. 3 year warranty! yeah u ship the hood back to them. $150 a pop. If they dont say that u r slamming the hood to hard and its not there fault. Im sorry i have to vent a little. Im just pissed at the fact that its $825

its a universal hood, however I understand your concern regarding the 2.2/2.4 or the 2.0 since its all in odd directions. I think its for the 2.2/2.4, but the 2.0 would benefit mainly from the cooling/heat extracting.
