New Pics with New CF hood
Never really post pictures up on here but I got a great deal on a CF SS hood and decided to post a few of the pictures I took. Fitment is alot better than others ive seen locally and the weave is great. Comments good and bad welcome.
( the last hood that is a cloud reflection not a defect )
Saw it was located in Connecticut only an hour and 20 minuteish away so I took my hood off and drove up there, put it on, and drove home. lol got more looks with the hood off than I did with the new one on. Had a Honda try and race me down the highway. Those kids get wood over anything lol.

thanks for all the comments guys. lol about riding up there with no hood.... i asked EVERYONE around here as I was very nervous myself. I would ask, double ask, ask a third time to make sure it was ok. Ended up being its legal in connecticut so I was good anyway. but still it attracts attention and is just an excuse for them to get you to pull over, then that leads to tint, then that leads to exhaust etc. but again thanks for all the comments. glad you all like. now time for a cf trunk to compliment it...

thanks again guys for all the positive comments! that hood came with just the gel coat, my buddy works for a body shop right here in stonington ct and he said hed clear the whole thing for 50 bucks since im best friends with him. cant complain about that price! but im just going to ride it out until november when the hood comes off for the winter and I can give it to him and tell him take his time. should be able to drop it off on a friday and pick it up on a monday. maybe then ill have my cf trunk and center spoiler and have him do them all at once then tuck them away until spring comes! sometimes in CT we get bad winters with alot of sand and this new kind of synthetic type of salt they use. i can only imagine what it does to the undercarriage of my car but i deff dont want it on my new hood and trunk if i can prevent it. so thats the plan for winter!

I'm normally not a fan of cf hoods and stuff like that
But with the way it flows with your wheels and the color of the car it does look very well put-together, neat and tidy.
Honestly I did not think that it could be done, but it really looks great!

thanks for all the great compliments guys! I do think it flows rather well. nothing too over the top. almost has a "it came with this hood" kinda look. In the end when im done with the car ( is that possible? lol ) I want it to look clean and tasteful. I love the stock polished wheels but I do think that these wheels flow with the lights, and the tint, and now the hood. its all coming together like a puzzle slowly. Itll be kinda neat going back to stock for the winter. Itll be like owning a whole different car! Came a long way from this tho!
