New R1 Cf Hood!!!!
thanks for all the comments. Yes it looks a bit much but when you step back from the car it gives it a really aggressive look! As for the mesh I will paint it black!
working on pictures tomorrow after I detail the car, these were taken really fast from my cell. I have a show to get ready for Sunday and I'm in the process of installing the stock fog lights onto this bumper, and polishing the valve cover, so I didn't want to wash it before I started getting it dirty again. Might polish the stock rims too...
UMM.....I thought it would grab more, and there's this really loud noise when coming down above 3k. But have a feeling it's the bearing between the fly wheel and transmission, and the guy who installed it kinda didn't know what he was doing cause it was the first Cobalt he worked on. But the clutch was in great condition!!! and I highly doubt it was the clutches fault, you sold me a great part don't worry about it!!!! How's the SRT-4? Traitor hahah jk

haha, each to their own. just my preference. lowering is a good start, window tint, wheels, nothing too flashy, clean is the way to go now days IMO. nothing that stands out and says "HEY LOOK AT ME, IM A GAS CAP STICKER!!" and draws the attention away from the actual car itself. just messin cc08
carbon fiber is a huge fad now days, and is getting old fast IMO. i hate going to car shows and seeing cars that have carbon fiber everything, and say "its lighter and looks cool" but still runs 15s. if you wanna drop some weight and go carbon fiber, its a good way to go. but for over 1k for a hood and trunk, i could put that money to better use. when and if i hit 12s, i might consider going CF myself, but OEM style and painted to match the rest of the car.
im not bashing anyones car by any means. if you like it, thats all that matters. ****, if you needed help putting it on, id even help you. but if you post pics, expect the good and bad. thats just the honest truth. congrats with the modding.
