with a stock shifter, you would have to get a universal one, since the stock shifter isnt threaded

I might have to take a ride tomorrow to check at Pepboys around here.. that shifter is sexy. The one in mine... rather annoying and the clips that hold the top in place.. all broken except for one.

Bump and ?

how hard is it to replace our stock shift knob? Like, If I wanted a new one is there anything I should look for to make sure it goes on and stays on? I dont want my s knob falling off while driving, my stock one has been used so much the gray paint on the top has rubbed off, and I now see wood underneithe.

That knob that you posted looks similar to one that I have installed in my Cobalt. It is a momo shift knob, doesnt have the red stitching, but is leather like that minus the shift pattern on top. I cant remember what I paid for it, but I saw it at several different places....check out my photos, I beleive there is one in there...
