New twist on tinted tails....pics inside; as well as a secret message

I debated for over a year about tinting my tails. Didn't really want to follow the herd but also didn't want to remain stock. Well when Altiery54 came out for the Ohio Meet and crashed at my place we did a little tinting on his car. Got a lil into it and we did mine as well. Now I know some have blacked out, others have smoked them, and some left the reverse a bright white spot and blacked the rest. Well I kinda blended the last two. The red on my tails has two light shades of Niteshades and the reverse has one light shade and cleared them to hell. Shouldn't take a how-to to clue people in on how I did it... FAF!

Anyway, here's some cellphone shots since I have no digital at the moment. Lighting is optimum, but you can see it's a nice subtle touch.

Thanks for the comments everyone! My wife and I were married 10-11-08. She's actually a member here for those that don't know; Cobaltchk06.

Removed the tails, cleaned w/ rubbing alcohol, taped off the reverse light, wiped down w/ alcohol again, sprayed one coat, dry, remove tape, spray second coat, dry, clear, clear, clear, clear. Let it all dry over night and reinstalled.

Hey, it's fitted the best it can be w/o tearing it off and having a shop fix the misalignment that RKSport gave me

I beg to differ, blacked out looks SICK on my wife's 2.2 coupe

then tell rk sport to send you a new one and make them pay for any body work needed on your trunk/rear quarters

Aftermarket parts don't work like that. No different than someone with a body kit that is ill-fitting. They can't make a company pay for the work to get it to fit. But enough of the wing, it's not the focus of the thread

I'll get the pics from my wife's car in a min.

Here's my wife's coupe; silver 2.2 w/ blacked out tails and headlights:
