Talking New Video: HIDs

Hey guys,

So I finally finished my video. It’s a compilation between the differences in HID vs. Stock bulbs on both headlights and fogs.

Please rate on Youtube!

He are are some pictures.

I paid $230 for both kits shipped. I also have a 3 year warranty.

A special thanks to AjSS for installing my kits.

See post 108 + 109 for some install help.

Jimmy

I just moved to a place were there isnt too many lightposts anymore so once I get some money together, projectors and HID's have been up'd to the number one thing to do for the car. Ill PM you when the time comes if you can still get the discount, thanks.

Did you just get an HID kit and install them into your stock lamps?? I was told that its not a good idea to do that because it causes extreme glare to oncoming traffic. Let me know I would like to do that myself. And that kit you got does it just plug right into the factory harness?

Look great, even though I'm one of those who dis-approve of HID's in stock housings. They still look good none the less.

Im sure my stance on this is known.
Ill leave it at this

Its painful to oncoming traffic, and dangerous.
Run them long enough and eventually a cop will pull you over for them.

Please consider some form of HID lighting that controls glare.

totally off topic here(pls forgive me this once), but who the hell is that chick in your avatar?

shes ****** smokein!!!

to the OP

looks good, i did the same on my car and regaurdless of what others say about glare its not nearly as bad as they think.
the trick is proper aiming to keep the glare to a minimum, it wont go away but you can reduce it.

i have had many friends in IRL and cobalts in frount of me and they have never said anything bad about glare, just how awesome they look.

this may be possible in your area, but i think your full of it.

i've had mien for a quite a long time and never once had a cop say a word about them, i've even had my neighbor look at them and he had nothing but good things to say about how they looked....guess what he does for a living????
