Why is everybody bitching about HID's in stock housings? Who gives a **** if I blind somebody else in another lane, it doesnt make sense why everybody makes a big deal out of it expecially an0malous! Who cares if you get a glare, you act like your going to be permenately blinded by it...

Nope not permanantly blinded. Just blinded long enough to hurt the eyes and force you to look away from the road, and possibly cause accidents.

YES, dead does sound alot worse then blinded but I doubt anybody has wrecked from just a glare off of an HID, I can understand if your low beams were aimed up or even your highbeams but it just seems like you attack people when they have HID's in there regular stock housings, some people dont like the projectors, so they just put HID's in stock housings so they dont have to worry about it and they can still have a well lit road in front of them. Didnt mean to attack just it seems like everybody has been making a big huge deal out of it lately......

I can understand where your coming from, but you dont have to make a big deal out of it everytime and post pictures to prove your point! People know what your talking about just some dont care, I have never got a ticket for it and I never will

I was going to be nice. as you can tell from my first post.
But with the responses, and the ignorance shown by some people....I felt it might help people understand with some pictures.... that it IS a big deal.
I think its one of the most selfish and ignorant things you can do these days with modding.
some people do crazy **** to cars these days, but this one is literally dangerous to every single person you pass on the road. I think thats a pretty serious issue.
If they dont like projectors theres plenty of other options.
IE, right this minute im expecting some factory projectors from an Infiniti, ordered them about 2 weeks ago, so i expect them right away, that Im going to be fabbing into my stock lights, so that I can have HID, but in my stockers, because I too actually prefer them over the ebay projectors.
But I also dont like to halfass things just so i can have the bright blue lights.
at the cost of the safety of my fellow motorists.
But with the responses, and the ignorance shown by some people....I felt it might help people understand with some pictures.... that it IS a big deal.

Good luck w/ the retrofit, I would do it but I dont have stock headlights anymore b/c I hit a deer and now im getting them replaced w/ projectors instead of stock and my bulbs came in today but I would love to do that....
