Did you turn off your DRL's, if so, how did you go about doing that? Just wondering, cause you would think that them comin on all the time would affect the life of the bulbs. Oh, and how bout when you activate your alarm, do your lights still come one and/or flash??
For the alarm, the lights do not come on.

(^ i believe that is right
Unless you get the Bi-Xenon kit which keeps both the Highs and Lows. That's what I will be getting. I will look through the Manual and see if I can make it so that my lights don't come on when I hit the unlock button
That's cool...you can turn them off. I can't remember how to get to the display screen to change it though.

the only reason i know that is b/c i had the low beam filiment blow out on my halogens once & ppl kept telling me i had a headlight out... I said b/s because when i unlocked my doors they both worked, but sure enough when i started the car one of them would go out. I came on .net & found out that the courtesy lights are your hi-beams...
but thanks for the rep...
...with the projectors(if you get them) your better off just getting HIDs for the projector & leaving halogens in the hi-beam spot, unless you use your brights ALOT your halogens will be just fine... and you can disable the courtesy lights when you unlock the doors, it is in the manual

same, H1s... the fogs are h11(i think)
That would be cool if they could hook you up, but $136 shipped is going to be hard to beat... but if your buddy can get you them for <$150 then i say go with that(instant gratification)
