Way to go for being different ! Your car is not exactly my scene, but I think it looks ok. Haters will always find a reason to flame you. If you lowered it, put 18" tires and rims and added a body kit, then you would be accused of building a "fake SS". If you intened to make a one of a kind Cobalt, I think you succeeded. Props for having the guts to do it and then post it !

Tires are FAR too small. If you can't afford rims that are big enough, then, here is an idea.... DON'T BUY NEW RIMS YET. See? Simple, isn't it?


As for your "fastest rice in town", no. It's a Cobalt. Not even an SS. That means you are slower than most of the other cars on the road. You're good for a 17 second 1/4 time. Wow, that's impressive.

I will not complain about the spoiler, because the Cobalt doesn't look right without one.

Graphics? Meh. Wouldn't have them on my car, but those graphics alone does not a ricemobile make.

Your car may not be all that bad, ricewise, but, YOU fit the general ricer stereotype. Loudmouthed, and quick to throw insults when someone doesn't like your car. OMG, SOMEONE DOESN'T LIKE MY CAR! Um, rims that are big enough for who? He could be a fan of lowriders for all we know, and love the look as small as he can go. Whatever. It's his car, his money, his decision. Honestly, I hope he doesn't care what you guys think. He did what he liked, and thats that. I would do the same thing, and plan on it. I have many plans appearance wise for my car, and I could really care less who doesn't like it, as long as I do.

To nomoreavril, I like it, and the graphics are actually pretty nice. If you're happy, then congrats on the purchase.

 

It would fit-in in a country like Thailand, just blow it up and get the insurance money for it so you can start over.

 

at the very least I would have gotten 16" wheels, for $100 a piece you could have even gotten some 17" wheels. I would have saved my money if I were you because anything smaller is just not worth it.

The graphics are well, graphics. That's rice right there. You have to lower it to make it look somewhat decent and respectable. But as of this moment, mostly everyone that will see you on the road will point and laugh at you. I hate to have said what I have said but that is rice and someone has to say it.

 

100% agreed...dont buy rims until they are the ones you are gonna want for the rest of the cars life, thats how i look at it, save until you can get what you want...if you want 15s then i guess more power to you, but seriously, why buy the same size as stock what is the point? my 15s are on right now but thats for winter, and i plan on putting drag radials on two of them just for the track...and sportlines will really help with the look, im thinking about lowering mine more becuase it still sits kinda high....and I LIKE THE NO SPOILER LOOK ON COBALTS lol

I can't believe this crap! Why would the aftermarket waste their time making a lift kit for our cars instead of making performance parts for the motor?!!!!

 

HAHA I love this guy ...his ride makes me laugh ...he half asses all these "mods" to fit an image ...but all these half attempts put together make you look like a joke .....I also love how the other Fake SS ricers come out and defend him ...the whole situation is comical

The car, obviously. Those rims are WAY too small. If you want to go for the lowrider look, then not only do you buy smaller rims, you lower the car. He said he didn't want to lower the car, instead he would buy a bodykit to make it LOOK lower, therefore he was NOT going for the lowrider look. Instead, he was going for the ricer look.

And, if you read his replies at all, AND my post, you will notice, he DOES let us bother him. Which is stupid. But, ammusing for me.
