I HAVE A POINT TO MAKE BEFORE ANYONE TALKS ABOUT TRADING!!!

Every part of the Cobalt and G5 trim is interchangable, except for the part on the right side of the steering wheel that runs up to the center stack. The Cobalts DIC controls are there, but the G5s are on the steering wheel. Pontiac, as far as I know, doesn't have silver trim to fit the G5, and if got some Cobalt trim, there would be a hole. This could work if you have a system or neon or something though bc you could have a clean place to mount a knob or switch, whatever.

for anyone that doesn't know what I am talking about.

^^^^ The 2007 Cobalts have the DIC controls on the steering wheel as well . So there is silver/nickel dash piece to directly replace the carbon one . These pieces are not that expensive new , just make sure ya order for a 2007 Cobalt .

one is the dimmer knob, the other is the fog light push button. The middle one on mine is the subwoofer on/off switch.

Wish they listed part #'s though, so you could just grab the PN then head to the dealer and pick it up, but then they wouldn't get paid would they, hmmmm, smart.....

why buy at a dealer though? dealerships are so expensive, even when I worked for a dealership crateenginedepot and gmpartsdirect had better prices than I could get.

Just so I don't have to deal with ups, they always lose my stuff. Not really their fault, just all the roads in the subdivision have the same name, except its CT, WAY, RD, ST, DR, ETC. So I'd grab it from the dealer just to have it asap, and once you figure in shipping its pretty close, well @cost anyways. (no retail here, got a commercial account)

nah thanks I already had another "local trade" offer but I think I'll stick with my CF for now, all people reporting poor quality on the nickel ones is making me back off, also black doesn't stand out as much.

thanks though
