yeah i put clear on them but i still need to wet sand and buff them and they'll be shiny. Im getting tires put on today lol. but i had to get 225/40/18 instead of 215/45/18. Yeah there darker than i wanted them to be but i had a run i had a pain getting out so thats how they turned out. Ill post up picks when i get the 3rd one done tonight and wet sand them. Thanks for all the comments i appreciate it.

no take some 1200 wet sand paper wet it down and just slowly go over it and get it real smoth. This will aslo take out small imperfections. And then buff it to a shine with some polish.

no not 1200grit wet sand. dont do it long just lightly smoothen them out and then buff em. i think you can just throw wax on instead of buffing them.

what clear coat is the best for tinting taillights?

I have the same problem as him, I clear coated them but they are dull, is it the way Im spraying?

Should I use really thick coats?

I got them done tonight dont have any pics. i wet sanded em down and i think i got them not as dark idk tho. I also got em really shiny and smooth. I wet sanded em and buffed em after the clear finished drying. The 3rd brake light is done but i only did 2 coats. everything is shiny.
