This is not right is it?

I just need some confirmation (and to know I'm not crazy) that this is not normal.

These are Gen 4 projectors on my 08 SS. Ilve tried switching bulbs and ballsts, and I even took the drivers headlight to the passenger side and that yellow hue follows it. I just want to make sure there are people who have normal cutoffs with gen 4's lol.

Haha wow, that looks like ****.

Are they HID-specific projectors or halogen? If they're made for halogen bulbs and you throw HID's into them you will get that effect.

Not necessarily. The cutoff he is getting is created by a bend in the shield or a dent in the projector near the lens.

It's not uncommon for Retro Fitters to purposely bend the shield or add washers between the lens and the projector housing to create a more colorful cutoff line.

Non HID projectors have a fuzzy cutoff when used with HID.

That's what happens when you assume. My gen4's work flawlessly...with halogen bulbs in them....because they are halogen projectors.

I was simply confirming this as an issue and not an isolated incident.
