OEM Carbon Creations Front Lip - SS

With the generous donation from 007 redline for his lip and his trunk we were able to produce the Tjin and we are about ready to make the Carbon Creations OEM lip for the SS.

My Question, does the OEM front lip fit the 05-09 Cobalt SS SEDAN front bumper??

Thanks guys and gals!

---

UPDATE 07/14/11:

General idea of Pricing:
Carbon Fiber/Carbon Creations: $399.00

Payment:
Like all my other Group Buys, 50% is due at the end of the GB and 50% is due when the lips arrive and are ready to ship from our facility in Southern California.

**Also I have been made aware that the Coupe lip also fits the Sedan, so all Cobalt users are able to participate in this GB!

Group Buy Break Down:
5-10 buyers - $358.30 Shipped
11-15 buyers - $338.35 Shipped
16+ buyers - $318.40 Shipped

Production Outline:
Item has already been shipped overseas. Estimating 3-5 months after the GB ends to receive the items.

This is a preliminary list, please only put your name if you are really going to be buying the OEM Carbon Creations Lip. With all due respect, I will be forced to leave a bad iTrader comment for the user names who drop out, after adding their names to the list.

If for any reason we fail to deliver on our end there will be no iTrader comments left for anyone and the people who drop out will be dismissed without any negative feedback.

Please copy and paste THE LIST TITLE AND LIST ONLY.

We'll we are thinking we are going to leave the clips out of the lip and just provide a 3M Double Sided tape. Thank you for your quick response.

honestly that would sell more anyways. people are scared about drilling or having to pay a body shop to mount it. would save money and probably draw in more customers.

I totally agree. Much easier to deal with, less labor on the customers end too.

^x2? I would not feel easy about an expensive carbon lip hanging on with just tape, in this climate with humidity and all eh....

You guys don't understand the power of the 3M lol. It holds up under any condition and won't fall off.

I know 3M tape is pretty strong stuff, but I'd feel a little bit better if it was atleast hanging from some clips or screws vs. tape

so we're talking no screws, no clips.. just tape?? isnt there pre-drilled holes on the front cover for the lip to attach with screws for the ss/na?

I'm a huge fan of 3M and it's capabilities, but the lip has to have some coefficient of drag. At high speeds (say road course) it's questionable whether it will hold up over time...

i'd prefer clips, 90% of the people who would buy one already have the holes or would drill the holes if they got ahold of a stock lip anyways.
