Ok, its good to know a ballpark price. 499 would be a hard swallow for a front lip, but we'll just get a bunch of people in on a group buy

I am basing the price off of our Genesis lips. It just may be lower. I have just given you the max.

Best of luck and definitely would be a great deal if you could get the large GB. Wish I could do something like this but I scrape like a mother. Maybe someday when it's not a DD... GLWS!

You can make anything work (for the most part), but there has to be value in it. There are plenty of other things that have more value to me at this point. I'm sure you'll find enough people to fill a GB and they'll be very happy w/ their purchase...

350 shipped for a 3M taped on carbon fiber lip that you won't put up pictures of the final product on a cobalt. Hmm, you sure didn't have a problem posting pics of the trunk with the RK spoiler. We all know what that looks like what's the difference?

he has not posted up what that one looks like. He has shown the trunk as it will be used to make a mold. We have not seen the final product. What do you really need to see on the lip anyways. Look at your stock lip, picture it in CF. If you don't want to save the money on the GB your more than welcome to pay MORE and wait till later.

Just for your general knowledge, that wing was made from scratch. RK's spoiler and our Tjin Trunk have very visible differences. Lets name some of the obvious differences, first off its not a spoiler its a Trunk with a spoiler integrated into it so Cobalt owners don't have to worry about installation or molding the spoiler onto the trunk to make it look like it belongs there. Our spoiler runs all the way across (one piece) unlike RK's three piece design. The only similarity that I could possibly see is that the angles may be around the same degree. We offer it in carbon fiber so people can achieve whatever theme they are trying to go with on their Cobalt. Also, GB wise you end up getting a Carbon Fiber trunk for an additional $115 versus just buying a spoiler alone. RK's wings are great, I am sure, but the forum members wanted this piece, so we made it. Thanks for your input.

Negative. I have yet to see an aftermarket lip that clips on to factory holes that is priced over $1000+

As long as it doesn't fall off and me crush it, I'll be alright. I'm hoping it'll be warrantied for something like that?

Not from crushing lol. How you secure a lip is solely up to you. No aftermarket lip you buy will come with the clips, unless its polyurethane, even then it would be hard to replicate those tiny pieces. I've never seen a lip rip off of a vehicle unless it was put through alot of stress. You'll be fine!

It'll still be a while. Probably around August sometime.
