how prep work was involved with this bumper and was it an exact fit?

I saw above that you mentioned the rksport body kit...looks amazing but just wondering if its possible to fit on a 2005 4door base?

 

probly the bumpers idk about the side skirts though

 

Honestly, I'm not sure if CED sells them, but a member on here might be selling some. Highly doubt that, but keep checking the for sale thread.

 

Actually, this was an exact fit. The only downfall was that right below where the hood latches, there is a slight gap from the bumper and the hood, but it's not terrible. And the bumper if polyurethane so I just had it all prepped at the paint shop.

From what I've heard and read, the front bumpers are the same on the 2dr and 4dr. The rear bumpers from a 2dr Coup will NOT fit a 4dr Sedan. That is a guarantee. I'm not quite sure about the side skirts, maybe someone else can help me, but I doubt it.

 

Love that RKS hood. It should fit a 2010, shouldn't it?

Hi everyone....new here. Probably some of you already answered this but.....Mine is an LT not SS...I wanna make it look good anyways....will the SS bumper fit my LT, no matter the year...Also I saw a nice looking bumper on ebay....but It says only fits coupe version.....need some guidance here :p

I PM'd you. This bumper is a poly-fiber bumper, in which you are going to hate because of a few reasons other than fitment. Try to stay away from Fiberglass materials and go with a Polyurethane bumper if your not looking to go with an SS stock bumper.

Ok, just looking for an opinion on a possible facelift. Thinking about going with the SS front bumper (not with the SS lip though), the SS skirts, the RK Sport G5 rear diffuser valance and the G5 trunk (wingless). I'd be removing my inner taillights and adding an LED strip for the reverse light. Thoughts?

 

I'd like to see the LED strip for reverse lights...Or you could wire up a set inside your brake lights (outters and 3rd)...that might look good...or if your going to be removing the inner tails, you should just get rid of the 3rd brake light while your at it. And go wingless..

 

I still don't know exactly how I'll do the reverse light LED strip. Originally I thought about putting it just above or below the license plate box on the bumper, but now that you said about the 3rd brake light, I wonder if I couldn't use one of those strips that trucks put between the tailgate and bumper. I'd be able to have it as a 3rd brake light, and mount it right at the base of the trunk, almost hidden.. I just wonder if they make them with a reverse strip in the center?? And I would be going wingless no matter what. I just don't like the spoilers on our cars.

 

I thought this would be a good thread to ask this question. I'm looking for a front ss lip but having trouble finding one, is there any websites or anywhere that sells this lip?? besides the carbon creations lip.

 

Does anyone know where I would go to order the Gravana AMG Wide body for my ss/sc? I can't find it anywhere online to order.
