What's the difference? And where do you buy the shiny kind? I heard they came out with a gloss but can't find it.

His pattern is a little bigger, Shiney stuff sucks. Vinyl guy told me it doesnt hold up in the weather and you don't get a warranty for it. Plus it doesnt look like CF up close

It will depend on the wheel I'm sure. I can see it being a challenge. Worth a shot though.

I think SS/SC wheels would be fairly easy. TC might be more difficult.

it might come out looking cheesy if you do the whole thing tho... unless you put an ass load of clear on it

I think it would look and hold up better if you shot the trunk with clear coat, that would give it a nice glossy shine!

what i would be worried about when "wrapping a wheel" is the sealwith the tire. Plus to get the CF to stick ur going to want to rouch up the surface of the wheel ******* it up pretty good

^ if your talking about wraping a rim in vinyl, no you do not rough it up at all, vinyl likes a smooth surface to stick on, not rough like paint. Yes a rim can be wrapped, I wrapped my entire lip with yellow and the spokes could be done just the same, you just stop at the edge of the lip and dont go around, else once you change tires they will ruin the vinyl in the process.

lol nah my bad really thats why i posted a pic of the CF wheel. figured if someone really wanted it they would just look for something similar that would work for the balt. wrapping an alloy rim in CF would seem better IMO then the all out carbon bc it ould be easier to fix if u had problems but **** all that jaz vinyl it up
