Yea, i painted my stock one yellow and bolted the carbon fiber overtop otherwise u couldnt really see the bowtie unless u really looked

is it easy to tell the cf vynal on your roof compared to the real cf on the hood?

Its not as glossy even tho they said it was the gloss cf wrap, but i found some spray on clear epoxy resin type stuff that im gonna try a scrap peice and see if it sticks to it or eats it or whatever, if it was a little more glossy you would never be able to tell unless u got real close

no cf vinyl matches real cf thats why i did my roof black...no matter what anybody tells you ive seen all of the different cf vinyls out there lol

right ya i totally understand just stood out bc it wasnt only cf. so i wasnt sure if it was real cf or vinyl

true, i wish i could wrap my own stuff with real CF, check out this website tell me what you think. its a starter kit

the biggest difference is the gloss, its easiest to tell if you look at my eyelids compared to the hood, like i said im going to try the lacquer stuff i found and see if it sticks to the vinyl ill post pics up after i do it

na it looks good it just doesnt match 100% so i like my glossy black better

As long as u like ur car thats all that matters i like mine, had the roof before the hood and absolutely loved it once i got the hood u can tell its not as glossy now, but hopefully fixing that soon

Haha both i had made eyelids in yellow when i had my stock hood, once i put on the carbon fiber i decided it looked funny so put a layer of carbon fiber over the yellow

i made them myself, i had a friend locally that had some yellow that matched my color almost perfectly, but i know if you search ebay you can find pre cut ones that fit pretty good, and of course i just cut the carbon fiber to lay over as well.

You could always order the color match spray paint from gm parts direct and paint them on
