i got my trunk smoked and noticed this looks kinds like dents. i believe its all in the mold of the trunk and doesnt have an this effect because of the smoking. at least thats what the guy at the body shop who smoked the trunk told me

its probably just the way the carbon was layed and then cleared over, you just dont notice it when its clear, the black in teh smoke is showing it more. thats my opinon of course, maybe someone knows whats it really is.

more pics of the smoked carbon? im getting the car fix next week and i need ot have my CF hood recleared and want to know how it looks.

the day i was going to at a pretty cool parking garage with blue tinted glass windows they were paving it ruined my day because its a pretty awesome place to take pics. i love how the smoke turned out. far away it the trunk looks black but up close you can see that its clearly cf

That's pretty good considering the speedometer pegs at 160. I have had mine to 120mph but backed off since traffic started to get heavy. Also do not have a radar detector to try to alert of po-po's. Would be pretty much screwed if caught lol. I was racing my brother-in-law in his pickup truck that the governor kicks in on at 90mph lol.

the clear is mixed with black pigment or paint to achieve a "smoked" look for the carbon trunk
