I have a question for you pod makers, what do you actually use for the outside piece to hold the gauge? Just like PVC pipes or sonething else?

its uber expensive if I have to supply a dash panel. They aren't cheap. Also I don't think anyonee has a clue just how much work goes into it with texturizing, painting, molding, making the hoods and making it fit without hacking up the vents and what not underneath.

Cad thanks for the compliments.....anyone that wants one can pm me. I don't do pricing openly on this forum

I could build it through the shop but it was cost faaaaaaaaar more to do it through the shop. Each one is built by hand injection molding is out of the question. Even injection molding the dual bezels is out of the question for how many I've built.

the dual bezel pods or the on dash triple? both arent easy to do CORRECTLY. if you do it with crappy materials, and dont really care about the way it looks either one can done easily i guess.

theres only one other person i would ever buy a bezel pod from on this site to put in my personal car other then my own. ive seen the worst of them and ive seen the best of them. theres really no middle ground. most are on the worst but i give props to people trying themselves. U gotta start somewhere so eventually there's will be nice.

as for the dash pod i had close to 42 hours into making it. between making the mod, the hoods, molding the hoods to the pod, smoothing out the dash so i had a nice clean surface to start from, texturizing it while still leaving the around the vent area smooth, paint, fitting it so the vents still fit above the sterio and not to mention $325-350 in just materials alone and having to buy a spare dash pad which i got a steal for at 125 shipped but that was a one time deal and a favor from someon. so for people who say my prices are too expensive then i hate to sound like a huge dick but you dont have to get them from me. I build these in my personal time and I give the best price I can for the materials used and time spent
