VHT niteshades on stock tailights, taped off the reverse light portion. I love em.

PICS!

I'll get some better pictures once the sun goes down a bit more.

Ipcw ----> Sedan Taillights!!!!!

Well for all of those like me who are looking to buy the Tail Lights for the sedan please see below email from IPCW.

They are NOW AVAILABLE!!!!

Dear Remi:

The parts are in our stock now and ready to ship. We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, and major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card. If you need more information, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks for your e-mail and interest in IPCW products. Yes, this item will be in our stock on June 22, 2007.

Our retail price is $333.18. The shipping and handling is $24.95US to US by ground.

These Tail lights are Full-Function LED Tail Lights. That means functions like the Running Light, Brake Light, and most importantly the Turn Signal are all powered by LED's. The LED Turn Signal is the most difficult function to made; this is where you get the very crisp on & off and clean cut look of the light. If you pay attention to the LED tail lights that are out there on the roads, even with OEM's, most Turn Signals are powered by a regular incandescent light bulb. This is when you see the turn signals gradually turn on and then gradually off because of the wire inside the bulb needs to heat up before it is lit.

Our LED tail lights are DOT compliant and are brighter than the regular incandescent light bulb taillights and they light up much quicker than old conventional tail lights. The incandescent bulbs could take as long as 200 milliseconds and LED takes less than a millisecond. So if a car is traveling at 60 mph, that will give you over extra 17 feet of reaction distance to stop safely on a highway. And another thing, the LED taillights sure look a lot more high tech and prettier than a regular taillight. For a price like this, you are actually getting a lot in return. Please let me know when you decide to order. I will be more than happy to help. Have a wonderful day!

Lilian

------- > Now I would rather go through a Vendor and get these on a group purchase since there are more people than we think that want these...any vendors want to start a thread for the IPCW Tail lights for Sedan's????

Cheers

Remi

Wonder why no love for the G5... When the sunfire was out, the aftermarket was all over it. Now the G5 is out and nothing... I bet if it wasn't for the Cobalt, the G5 wouldn't even have a headlight option.

Probably not, the g5 is very new and aftermarket companies arent sure how long its going to last since theres talk of the cobalts demise so they probably dont wanna take the risk of $$ to make stuff for it yet.

I don't know what the problem is...you see I have a pursuit...and all the cobalt parts fit on my car so I don't see why they wouldnt fit on the G5????

Either the G5 has special things done to is since the pursuit, but from what I know the G5 and the pursuit are the same car they just decided to change the name because og the G6...

Cobalt and Pursuit/G5 = Same in my eyes...seen the details and trim and they are the same.

if I am wrong then let me know but I have tried to do the cobalt parts and they work so far.

if you look at the taillights on the pursuit/g5, cobalt sedan and cobalt coupe they are all different... many parts are interchangable but some are not... this one isnt

They don't make a G5 Sedan, just a Coupe... And the tails are completely different than your Pursuit Sedan.

hate to change the subject on the G5s, but:
anyone seen chromed-out tails? I have a laser-blue, so I doubt that smoking them is going to look real good. If I can get some chrome bits added to those damned red zits on the back of my car...

Not to sound rude, but just b/c there aren't some glamm'd up tailights for a G5 yet, dosen't mean that the G5 isn't "getting any love". Im SURE you knew this, but a G5 is just a Cobalt with a special grill and different rear end. So just hold off on wanting tailights for now and get some of the MANY other parts available for a G5 right now, such as an intake, header, downpipe, exhaust, springs, shifter, wheels, hood, lower grill, rotors, pads, etc etc etc.

Like I said before, im not trying to sound rude, im just trying to open your mind up to something besides tailights, since your saying G5's have no aftermarket just b/c you can't find tailights for it yet.

I know all the ******* mechanical stuff works, but damn, the grille from the cobalt don't fit, so yeah, what ever... there isn't much in the name of styling cues for the G5 as there is for the Cobalt. Just cause I have a Car that doesn't look like the tail end was ripped off of the corvette doesn't mean it should be ignored. Oh yeah, Not to sound rude btw.

Well you failed at not sounding rude by dropping the F-bomb.

For styling cues, I love the RK Sport G5 bodykit. Alot better looking than anything i've seen for the Cobalts. I know that the RK Sport G5 kit will fit my car, but I think im just gonna leave my exterior stock anyways.

I was thinking about getting the AVS full covers and was wondering does anyone know if it is illegal to have your headlights and tail lights smoked/blacked out in Ohio?
