Just tested on our SEMA sponsored Cobalt:

Please don't mind the blue masking tape! Hood fits flawlessly and looks hot in the sun!

For those who purchased it, the first batch will start shipping this week! Thanks again for the support!

How much less, compared to stock, does this hood weigh?

Hey, any chance of getting one made for an ION Redline? I know a TON of people would be up for a hood that looks just like that!!!

How is that hood treated? Ohhh so tempting but stage 2 first!

also do you have comparative runs to show heat dissipation assistance from the hood?

Also what is the hoods impact on the drag of the car?

And lastly a repeat.. What is the weight of the stock and the new hood?

Will this hood accept the support of the little hydrolic that is under the hood on my 06?

Are the mount points identical?

Do I need to move the heat shielding in my current hood over to this one?

Thanks Ern. Give the folks some time. Some of my questions are pretty technical in question and would require some research. I figure by late afternoon they should all be answered.

Well at least officially postponed.

This one looks more functional with less actual drag for the lack of scoops.

Huh? That seems like the backwards way to get information. Why would a vendor know about the weights and specifics of a product that YOU (or your company) designed? As you stated above that the first shipment would be going out soon, how would a vendor even know what the hood looks like, less what it weighs? I would think that you would have designed this product with all of that information, to make sure that yours weighed less, fit right, etc. etc. So you don't have any of the information to answer the questions posted above?

Perhaps his lack of answers are in part due to them not being a "supporting vendor"
