I used them for 2 years and my bros now using the same ones for about a year now. No fogging and the lenses seem pretty resilient.

They will be for sale in a week or two.

He makes it sound so simple

Actually my boyfriend came across this on interwebz and has looked everywhere trying to figure out exactly how it's done. He found one where the guy used a pop can painted red but he was all "doesn't that mess with the cutoff?!"

And then I heard

"Why the **** do I keep ending up on the cobalt forums. Babe go figure out how to do this"

So to pipe his ass down

How does one do this properly?

There is 3 or 4 screws holding the glass onto the projector. Remove those. Don't lose the small washers. Be clean too. Then you will come to the shutter plate and solenoid. Some solenoids are simple to take off the pin to remove the shutter plate. From there spray it with paint.assemble. done.

If you do the pop can correctly it doesnt mess with the cut off, and you don't the bi-xenon plunger. Or do what Bass_Waves said its hard to see the bi-xenon plunger.

I really, really wish there was an aftermarket stock-ish headlight housing ready for drop in HID's. The stock lights are just so damn crappy
